When this information becomes available, the system sends the alert, giving the customer the opportunity to buy the ticket.
"Your personal hostess": travel advice and flight status info campaign
This campaign does not require passengers to subscribe to TwitteringTube and becomes active when a flight is booked. It provides additional information about the journey and the places of departure and arrival, such as:
- weather updates (for both place of departure and place of arrival)
- events and things to do in the city of arrival
- suggested books, guides and multimedia contents about the destinations.
The news items have the dual aim of sharing useful information with the customer and selling innovative ancillary services such as booking events or purchasing a guide. Moreover, the personal hostess becomes active and informs the customer immediately when a flight status change occurs.
"Club Fidelity" Campaign
This campaign is aimed at both Club Fidelity members and prospective leisure or business customers of the Airline, who can decide to receive and filter only the desired contents. The main aims of these campaigns are:
- to avoid delivery problems typical of traditional media (e-mailing);
- to increase perceived quality in terms of technology innovation, helping to enhance the company's image as a technologically advanced and innovative business;
- greater involvement on the part of opinion leaders and improved customer relations;
- increase in redemption;
- increase in fidelity;
- increase in online B2C sales;
- impact on media (an exclusive and innovative communication system is used)
Thanks to dedicated campaigns, the user will be able to receive information about a number of topics of interest such as things to do in the city of destination. The campaign may include the promotion of business actions.
